Welcome!

Welcome to Four Dog Paws! We’re glad you’ve stopped by. With over 16 years of service to pet lovers in the Denver metro area, I’m thrilled to introduce myself as the Pack Leader. As a devoted dog mom to my special needs pit bull, Ellie, and her rambunctious sister dog, Birdie (where my Aussie-lovers at?), I understand the challenges of finding reliable pet care firsthand. That’s why I’m committed to providing exceptional services that exceed expectations for Denver pet parents. I want you to experience the comfort of having someone love your pets just as you do!

Originally from Texas, I’ve embraced Colorado’s outdoor lifestyle since moving here in 2021. When I’m not ensuring your pets receive top-notch care, you’ll find me hitting the slopes, biking, or camping with husband and two kiddos. And fun fact: in a past life, I played roller derby. Now, you might spot me skating with my daughter along Denver’s sun-drenched sidewalks.

Hey there! I'm Joan

For the past 6 tail-wagging years, I’ve been proudly serving as Assistant Pack Leader at Four Dog Paws. In addition to watching our furry friends while you are out of town, I also manage all scheduling requests. After a long stint in the corporate world, I decided to trade in my computer for a leash, and what a pawsitive change it’s been!

Before my days with Four Dog Paws, I spent my time raising a wonderful family and navigating the bustling streets of the Denver metro area. Yep, I’ve been a Mile-High City dweller since ’77!

Nowadays, you can find me spreading smiles and handing out belly rubs to pups of all shapes and sizes. Life is good when you’re surrounded by wagging tails and unconditional love!

Hi! I'm Kassedi

I’m a 26-year-old Texas native currently pursuing my masters at DU. At home, I have a six-year-old fur baby named Kai, a charming husky who keeps me on my toes. Honestly, I probably love animals more than humans – but don’t tell anyone!

This job has been incredibly rewarding for me. The bond I’ve formed with the amazing pets I care for has been a lifeline during difficult times, both mentally and emotionally. It’s truly heartwarming to see the joy and comfort they bring, and I treat each and every fur baby like they’re my own. Your beloved pets are in good hands with me!

Hey there, I'm Matt

Born and raised in the Denver metro area, Colorado is in my blood. I enjoy walking dogs while I get my daily steps in, so it’s a fun way for me to be active and hang out with animals! That’s my idea of a good time. I’ve dabbled in housesitting before, so when the opportunity arose to try pet sitting, I jumped at the chance.

When I’m not out and about with pets, you can find me behind the lens as a photographer or working part-time at a small resale store. My other passions include music, travel, and snowboarding.

I can’t wait to meet your pet and cruise the sidewalks of Denver together!

Hi! I'm Michelle

Originally from Indiana, I ventured to Basalt, Colorado in 2014, and later settled in Denver in 2017. I was drawn to Colorado after vacationing here for ski trips and my passion for outdoor activities. My son, his fiancé and their two dogs live here as well. Having recently retired from the healthcare industry, with a stint in education along the way, I found myself seeking a new path that aligned with my deep love for pets. The decision to work in pet care wasn’t just about my affection for animals – it stemmed from personal experience. I’ve felt the stress of leaving my own pets at home during long work hours and travels.

Amidst a sea of options in the pet care industry, Four Dog Paws stood out to me. Their longstanding dedication to pet well-being and their high standard of care resonated deeply. I love animals and hopefully the care I give to our clients’ pets relieves some of their anxiety knowing when they can’t be with them they are well loved, adored and cared for. I care for each of our clients’ beloved animals as if they were my own.

Hey there, I'm Mark

Originally hailing from South Carolina and Florida, I made the move to Denver in 2001, swapping palm trees for mountain peaks. For 22 years, I soared through the skies in the airline industry until 2022, when I decided to embark on an early retirement adventure. Nowadays, you can often spot me hitting the trails with my wife and our beloved pup, Java, in tow. As for my foray into pet sitting, I was drawn to Four Dog Paws because of their upstanding reputation (aw, thanks Mark!) and my love of dogs. Pet sitting allows me to spend quality time with all sorts of furry companions – a role I cherish wholeheartedly.

Hey there!, I'm Kirsten

I’m thrilled to call Colorado home for the past year and a half, originally hailing from Massachusetts. As an artist and outdoor enthusiast, I’ve found my perfect playground here in the Rockies.

With over 7 years of experience in the animal care industry, I’ve worn many hats – from dog walker to doggie daycare attendant, and even as an animal care technician at a rescue. One of my favorite roles has been serving as a pack leader for outdoor adventures. There’s nothing quite like exploring nature with a group of furry friends by your side!

Working with animals brings me immense joy, and I feel incredibly fortunate that I get to combine my passion with my profession. When I’m not out dog walking, you’ll likely find me immersed in my artwork, lost in a good book, or playing with my wonderfully energetic 13-year-old lab, Missile.

I can’t wait to meet your furry companions and create unforgettable adventures together!

Hey there, fellow animal lovers! I’m Shannon, born and raised in Colorado on a sprawling ranch in Sedalia. Growing up surrounded by the majestic Rocky Mountains, I developed an unwavering affection for all creatures great and small.

My childhood was filled with adventures in 4-H and pony club, where my heart found solace in the graceful stride of horses and the thrill of 3-day eventing. Some of my fondest memories include galloping through the hills with a merry band of ranch dogs in tow!

My affinity for critters doesn’t stop at hooves and paws. My mom affectionately refers to me as an “animal whisperer,” thanks to the peculiar bonds I’ve formed with a chinchilla and a flock of pet birds – they’re quite the characters, let me tell you!

Life threw me a curveball with a traumatic brain injury, but through it all, my belief in the healing power of animals remained steadfast. They’ve been my devoted companions on the road to recovery, and now I’m thrilled to pay that forward.

Joining Four Dog Paws feels like destiny. It’s a chance for me to continue my healing journey while spreading love and joy to every furry or feathered friend I meet. From my pets to yours, I’m grateful for the opportunity to be a part of this community. Let’s make some tail-wagging memories together!

Hey everyone! I'm Lauren

I’m thrilled to be part of the team here at Four Dog Paws! What inspired me to become a dog walker/sitter is my genuine love for dogs. They’re not just pets to me; they’re the best companions anyone could ask for! Plus, I absolutely adore spending time outdoors, so dog walking is the perfect fit for me.

I’ve always lived in Denver, Colorado, being a native to the state. Currently, I’m pursuing my education at Colorado Mountain College in Glenwood Springs.

At home, I have two furry friends of my own: a 12-year-old pointer and a 6-year-old pitbull. They bring so much joy and love (and shenanigans) into my life every day.

I’m also a student gearing up for college, so flexibility is key for me. That’s one of the reasons I love working with Four Dog Paws – they’re always super friendly and accommodating. It’s the perfect balance for me between my studies and my passion for spending time with these amazing animals.

I can’t wait to meet all your wonderful dogs and give them the love and care they deserve!

Hey there! I'm Karissa

I enjoy walking and sitting with dogs because I love them and all animals—they hold a special place in my heart. Having grown up around animals, I’ve always had pets throughout my life. My current fur baby, Ziggy, is 2 years old and keeps me busy with his lively personality. Working at Four Dog Paws for almost 3 years has been rewarding; I appreciate the team’s genuine care and love for the pets, their owners, and each other, making us feel like family.

Originally from Texas, I’m married with two sons. After our youngest son graduated and went off to college, my family and I decided to embark on a new adventure in Colorado. We fell in love with the state immediately during our vacations, prompting us to make it our next home as empty nesters.

Currently, I’m pursuing my passion for cooking in culinary school, set to graduate this August. I’m also working as an apprentice with a local private chef, with aspirations of starting my own business in the culinary industry. In my free time, I enjoy various outdoor activities, spending quality time and making memories with my family and pup, reading, cooking, crafting, gardening, and simply savoring each day.

Hey there! I'm Kelsey

I’m deeply rooted in Colorado, with family ties tracing back six generations to our ranch near Golden. Agriculture runs in our blood; my grandmother even studied it at UNC. Our family history includes ancestors who mined the clay that built Denver’s iconic bricks. Suffice it to say, our love for animals is as ingrained as our Colorado roots.

Before the pandemic, my bustling household consisted of my baby girl, two dogs, a cat, and a husband. Now, it’s just my five-year-old daughter and me. To fill our days and share our love for animals, we volunteer to pet sit and walk dogs for neighbors.

By profession, I’m a real estate appraiser, but my journey has seen me wear many hats. I once ran a dog daycare and spent a decade in portraiture, leveraging my degree in photography. But through it all, pets have remained my passion and priority.

In my spare time, you’ll find me showering love on every furry friend I meet. Pets are truly my cup of tea, and I can’t wait to share that love with your beloved companions.

Hey there, I'm BJ

Originally from Minnesota, I moved to Colorado during my college years and never looked back. I’ve gained experience from working at a dog daycare, volunteering at animal shelters, caring for others’ dogs, and raising and training my own four-legged companions. Currently, I’m training my two-year-old Labradoodle, Sam, to become a therapy service dog. I retired a year ago but pretty quickly decided I wanted to continue caring for animals. With insight from friends already in the industry, it became clear that Four Dog Paws was the ideal choice for me to pursue this enduring passion. Caring for your beloved pets is truly a passion of mine!
